Attendance

We believe that religious education and attendance at weekly Mass should be every Catholic family's priority - the 'lifestyle' of the family.

• It is expected that each student attends weekly PREP classes at their scheduled time.
•  Attendance is taken at each class or at PREP Mass by the Catechist. 
• Students will not be excused from Class for any sports activity or permitted to switch days for sports commitments.
• Students are expected to be mentally present during instruction.  Cell phone usage is not allowed.

Parents must email [email protected] to report their child's absence.  Missed assignments/chapters should be completed at home.

If a student misses more than 5 classes in the PREP calendar year, for reasons other than serious illness, promotion to the next grade level is in jeopardy and the grade may have to be repeated. Students with multiple absences will be contacted by the PREP office.  A doctor's certificate must be provided to the DRE explaining the medical reasons for any excessive absences.
