2016 MISSION BACK PACK EVENT

We need your help to fill 2,050 new back to school backpacks filled with 18 new school supplies for Westchester children  living  in homeless  shelters and transitional living arrangements. We partner with 19 social agencies and churches to distribute these backpacks to needy children.

It will be held rain or shine, in the Resurrection lower Church Hall on Monday, August 14th, 10am to 12 noon to unload and set up and on Tuesday, August 15th, 10am to 12 noon to fill the empty school bags.
(There will also be a truck delivery on Thursday, August, 10th- time TBD - we will need some strong helpers) 

On Monday, August 14th, we need heavy lifters to unload the truck and Tuesday all volunteers (preferable day to bring young children).

Note: community service  hours will be given to students.

Refreshments served!  We welcome all volunteers and could not do Mission Backpack without you. Thank you in advance for your generous support.
