Giving Tree

November/December Giving Tree volunteers collect donated toys from parishioners for needy children identified through organizations such as the Franciscan Friars, Cardinal McCloskey Valhalla Children’s Residence, the Bedford Women’s Correctional Facility and Respect Life, especially at Christmas time. Store gift cards for older children and Stop and Shop food gift cards are also collected for needy families.

The 2022 Christmas Giving Tree is located at St. Josephs’ Altar of the church and is beautifully decorated with hand-made ornaments.  Please take an ornament (or two) and return a Christmas gift for a needy boy or girl.  Gifts should be unwrapped with the ornament securely taped to the package. Gifts can be placed under the tree now until December 20th.

RESPECT LIFE gifts of diapers, baby presents, and blankets are also needed. Drop off Gift Cards to the rectory Mon- Fri 9 am - 4 pm. Do Not Leave Gift Cards in Church.

Ages 12-18:  Books, Board Games, Puzzles, Hand Held Video Games, Personal DVD Players, Movies, Jewelry, Watches, iPods, Crafts/Art Supplies, Science Kits, Sporting Equipment, Make-up Sets, Clothing/Accessories (Hoodies are always popular) If you purchase a gift that requires batteries, including the batteries with the gift is greatly appreciated.
