For over 30 years, Rye’s Helping Hands all volunteer organization has provided dignity for Westchester’s neediest residents. Helping Hands partners with dozens of social service agencies and churches who are on the front lines when it comes to providing basic needs (food, clothing, toiletries, underwear, school supplies) to our neighbors.

Volunteer Opportunities:

                                                                                        Resurrection hosts the annual Helping Hands Mission Backpack school supplies program, held in August each year when over 2,000 back-to-school ready backpacks containing over 19 grade appropriate supplies are packed and distributed to needy children through social agencies and Churches. 
 

2018 Events: 

August 13, 10 AM - 12 PM, unload and setup.

August 14, 10 AM to 12PM, fill the empty bags

Thursday Sandwiches:

Third Thursday Sandwiches @10 AM: Made every 3^rd Thursday of the month at Rye Presbyterian Church kitchen, and distributed from Grace Church in White Plains. Contact: Brigitte Sarnoff at bzsarnoff@gmail.com

Toiletry Collection:
