Reconciliation

Through Reconciliation we seek forgiveness for our sins and celebrate God’s everlasting love for us. Sin hurts our relationships with God, ourselves and others. 
In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, penitents receive absolution and God’s grace.

Children in the second grade at Resurrection School are prepared for First Reconciliation. Children not attending Resurrection School are prepared in their second grade Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) class. Before a child may receive First Reconciliation, he or she must complete two years of formal classroom religious education.
